Traditional simulation usage | |||||
|
In the past, simulations have usually been designed with a single, fixed user interface, which provides access to all the functionality of the simulation model. All end users see the same interface, regardless of their level of expertise. This presents a steep learning curve for the novice user, being more suited to an expert, student or teacher who is well versed in the subject and understands the meaning of the technical terms. Such interfaces can be produced with eSim Builder. The applet below consists of 4 main areas, the rotating phasor(top left), the sine and cosine projectines (top right and bottom left respectively) and a control area, which allows the users to set up and control up to 5 phasors by setting the amplitude, phase and frequency (bottom right). Preset complex waves (square, triangle and sawtooth are also available). Users can also define a decay factor for the phasors.
